To help us cover a small portion of the costs to provide our accreditation services, as of January 1, 2015, GFAS requires an annual fee for all Accredited and Verified sanctuaries based on a sliding scale of applicant organization's total annual expenses for the last fiscal year. For newly accredited or verified organizations, this annual fee schedule begins the second calendar year of certification (e.g. if accredited at any time during 2017, annual fees will be required in 2018). All organizations will receive an invoice at least one month in advance.
Payment will be required to remain listed among our accredited and verified organizations. All amounts below are U.S. dollars.
Annual and application fees help offset some of the costs of the accreditation process, including a portion of site visits, as well as other expenses related to program services for Accredited and Verified facilities (which may include workshops, webinars, GFAS staffing, and other support).
