Application Fees

As of January 1, 2015, GFAS requires an application fee for NEW applicants only, based on a sliding scale of your total annual expenses for the last applicable fiscal year.  This application fee applies to any organization applying for accreditation or verification.  Any sanctuaries that have already applied and are in the existing application process will grandfathered and not be charged the application fee. All amounts below are US dollars. Payment will be required for consideration of application materials.

Annual Fees

As of January 1, 2015, GFAS requires a fee for all existing GFAS accredited and verified organizations due on April 15th annually based on a sliding scale of your total annual expenses reported for the last applicable fiscal year. For newly accredited or verified organizations, this annual fee schedule begins the second calendar year of certification (e.g. if accredited at any time during 2015, annual fees will be required in 2016). All organizations will receive an invoice at least one month in advance. Payment will be required to remain listed among our accredited and verified organizations.
